Little miss Makenna just couldn’t wait to meet her awesome mom & dad and surprised everyone by arriving almost a month earlier than expected. Her early entrance put a damper on our plans to take some pictures with her new litter of puppies as she turned up well before they were born.

After a quick ride in the NICU, she came to see us at 24 days for her newborn portraits and boy did she rock them – Between her curious eyes when she was awake and her sweet smiles during the session, she was a dream baby to work with.

And as our last picture of the day, dad Mychal requested a special picture just for him with some of his favorites from his ever growing shoe collection! What a perfect end to a perfect session.
